  2) NHS costs:

  Nowadays accident and emergency departments can claim for cost of treatment from the insurance company. This also includes ambulance costs.
  Also if you are the innocent victim of an accident, the hospital bills will be paid by the offender’s insurer and vice versa. NHS bills can be surprisingly very expensive.

  3) Uninsured drivers:

  Statistics say that one in 10 drivers is uninsured.
  Whenever an uninsured driver gets involved in accidents and ends up injuring other people the driver won’t be able to call upon the auto insurance carrier to defend him against any consequential lawsuits, or to pay any settlements or award of damages resulting from litigation.
