Crime Threats During Winter
Statistics show that there is always an increase in accidents poll during winter. Actually danger is not limited to accidents but to crimes as well. There have been reports of car stealing also during winter. This happens to unattended vehicles while the driver is warming up the engine. Unfortunately, many car insurance companies are not to be sympathetic about this matter. They would reason out that the driver failed to his responsibilities as to caring of the vehicle. The driver should never leave the car key to the ignition as this is likely an invitation to car thieves. Another thing is that you will most likely fail to claim insurance just because of poor defrosted windscreen. Insurance companies will contest that it is the driver’s responsibility to drive with 100 percent visibility.
